Roshi Sharma is a highly experienced lawyer and financial services executive with 20 years’ industry experience.

Roshi founded LawBEAM with a mission to help clients navigate the changing legal and regulatory landscape as it relates to new technologies.

He advises financial institutions, technology companies, and crypto/web 3.0 enterprises on UK and international law and regulation.

Roshi was previously at HSBC Holdings plc (2013-2021), where he worked closely with global regulators and spearheaded strategic and regulatory programmes across the UK, the United States, and the Asia Pacific.

Roshi’s private practice career spanned a decade at English law firm, Slaughter and May (2004-2013), where he advised clients across the full spectrum of corporate and finance transactions. He was also an advisor to the UK Government during the 2008/9 Global Financial Crisis.

Roshi has been a key-note speaker at Crisis Management Groups attended by G20 Central Banks and Global Regulators, including the Bank of England, the US Federal Reserve, the ECB, and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
